夜明けの晩に
"waiting for the world to burn, now"
seita's headcanons
If ever a feeling of drowsiness overtakes someone seemingly from thin air, Seita is lurking just nearby. It’s known that their very presence can cause people to feel unnaturally calm, even causing those with weak wills to drift off into a peaceful doze. They have over a dozen human brains preserved in their room, resting peacefully within jars of fluid. Seita worships the brain, and believes that the greatest truth to human life lies in the mind. Because of this, they enjoy observing people at both their best and their worst to get a sacred glimpse at how their minds work.Believes that dreams are the spirits’ way of communicating with human beings. Due to their extensive study of neural waves and pathways, they are able to predict what a person is dreaming of, and will think that they are either blessed or cursed by the kami based on what the dream is.Struggles to understand why people want to stay awake when a realm of dreams and peace awaits them in their sleep, and after death. Will often try to coerce people through lullaby or hypnosis to make them fall asleep. However, sometimes this can go too far, and can induce a coma or even death.Their snake is named Hikaru, and resides in their dorm room. They have a strange knack for the reptile, and can seemingly communicate with it through silent eye movements. Due to their poor eyesight and increased ocular sensitivity, Seita learned through their snake how to navigate the world through sense of smell, and has a heightened sense of hearing.

gishiki's headcanons
Also owns a snake named Kurai, and suffers from a similar flaw in their eyesight. Is able to navigate through a heightened sense of hearing as well, but also uses a variant of thermal-related detection to tell a person’s emotional and physical state.Often enjoys sugary or metallic tastes, and tends to gravitate towards candies with cherry flavor. Because their blood sugar is so low, Gishiki will often consume large amounts of sugar at a time with seemingly no adverse effects. Will often rely on the taste of the blood they study to satisfy their iron-deficient desires. Will perform transfusions on themselves with the blood from Seita’s sleeping patients from time to time. Without routine blood transfusions, Gishiki will die, so they will do what it takes to keep them alive. This habit has turned them into a kind of parasite always looking for blood to harvest. They can see slightly better in their white eye, but hate it, believing it to be a curse from the kami on them. Gishiki believes the eye to be the source of their inner demon, which is their various illnesses and afflictions, and has tried to remove it several times.Speaks more than Seita, and liked to hum to themselves while working on a new project. They know a variety of traditional folk songs and strongly dislike modern pop or rock, instead appreciating the haunting lullabies that Seita concocts.
